"This historic organ was built in 1852 and is housed at Église Saint-Michel in Lagrasse, a very beautiful and quaint village in the South of France. I originally connected with Lagrasse after performing some of my Radiohead and Bowie arrangements at the En Blanc et Noir Piano Festival in the summer of 2019. After performing another show there in 2023, I was fortunate enough to be given the opportunity to play this stunning instrument by a local resident who looks after its general use and maintenance. This experience was so special and unique that I decided to return to Lagrasse a few months later with my flight case of microphones and camera gear....

I don't know that you'll see this comment but if you do I was curious if you liked composing piano pieces more for A Moon Shaped Pool compared to any of Radiohead's other Albums considering it's heaviness on piano and orchestra. Did that make it more enjoyable or restrict your freedom somewhat?
Hey there, it really depends on the instrumentation and whether I can easily incorporate the melody without losing integral parts played by other instruments. Often people believe if there’s a piano part that it will translate easily into a solo piano arrangement, but that’s really not the case at all. I know instantly whether I can create an arrangement of a track but I wouldn’t say that tracks off A Moon Shaped Pool were any different from other albums - you may have a point though, I might need to have a think about this as I hadn’t really thought about it before..
